Hi - Good morning - Long time no see - wow over six months since my last post and we're still here. There is a heat wave in NY right now - supposed to be 96 F today - I can attest that it's hot already and only will be hotter. It's been that way for a while now - it is supposed to cool off though very soon.
I have my grandson, Zachary with me - he's been here a month and leaves to go home to Arizona tomorrow evening. I will really miss him. I got a new puppy in January - Wolowitz and I think that Wally thinks I bought him a kid - he will be heart broken - but we will both recover.
I was inspired according to my post from last December - and I guess I was - I've been "doodling" with clay for the last few months. I'm making more beaded face pendants - this last one I'm doing is for Emily - Mike's girlfriend.
I'm hoping to make a couple of figures within the next couple of months - but I will see how it all goes. Time is fleeting and it seems that when I decide to do things I enjoy something happens and its the next thing later where ever and how ever that is...
I am hoping that I figure out some time management soon. I will be working full time for one or two more years and then I will stop and play for a while. It's funny that we are always asking kids what they want to be when they grow up - from this vantage all I can say is the good answer is happy and doing what makes me that way. Too bad very few of us ever get to be that - it would probably make the world a much friendlier place.
Anyway - I am going to try and do more for what makes me happy and see where it takes me - I will still need to work for a while but that's okay - as long as I get a chance to play once in a while.
