It's been a long, long time since I worked on any dolls and it's been a long time since I've blogged about it. I am almost finished with a challenge doll for my guild in central New York - CYNDAG. (Central NY Doll as Art Guild) It's a fairy challenge. We used a fairy name generator and are making a doll for a challenge using these names. My is Hex Elffilter. She's interesting. I have to do a write up on her and am struggling. I can't post a picture yet because I need to do something about her face - just isn't right yet.
I'm also going to try doing a challenge on CDA, (Cloth Doll Artistry) for the Primitive Americana Patriotic doll that I have a link at the end of this paragraph for more information. The challenge is open to anyone who wants to join in - click the button and check it out - the more the merrier. (and there will be prizes...) http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=121220704571766
In the meantime - I am having a garage built for my car - this last winter was my undoing and I just want to put the car away and know it's okay and not snow covered or ice encrusted. Anyway - here are some pictures of the progress.
(hole for the Alaskan slab and curbing)
(Dave's back hoe that dug the hole...)
(Fred doesn't have anything to do with the garage - he's just my cutie)
When I get done with my doll I will post some more pictures - hopefully of the doll and maybe the cat again. Take care and have a great Wednesday evening. I'm going to have another cup of tea. K
